What should I put in my eBook?

We design a lot of e-books to customers who ask us the same question - what should I include in my eBook? Depending on the subject ebook there are quite a few different places you should consider.

Copyright / Disclaimer

In my opinion, have a copyright and / or page of responsibility is one of the most important content of your ebook.

For example, if you have written an ebook related to health, it is advisable to include a disclaimer advising the reader to consult a physician before beginning any new exercise program. EBooks related business in which you are promoting financial freedom should have a statement that indicates that we can not guarantee success with your methods.

Regardless of the type of content, all eBooks should have a right to copyright the beginning of the document protects your ebook from theft and let the reader know what they are allowed to do with the document (can print the document are authorized to transmit it to a friend, etc.).

Chapters or headers only?

You have your content. Usually in the form associated with chapter titles or main titles and subtitles. There is no hard and fast rule that says you must have your book in chapter form.

However, having the ebook chapters or sections organized more efficiently to the benefit in the final analysis, the reader.

Titles of chapters may be included in a page with text or, if you want to break the ebook up, the titles of the chapters can be on your own page. It really depends on how you would like to submit your ebook - it is entertaining in nature? Or more business-like, serious? In the latter case, you're probably better off sticking with the main chapter headings voice.

Chapter titles organize the ebook more efficiently, benefiting ultimately the reader.

Table of Contents

Surprisingly, many customers think they have a table of contents. There are many benefits to having one. These include:

Navigation and revisions - linked table of contents are easy to navigate. Instead of copying and pasting entries, generate a table of contents in Microsoft Word. If you make changes or additions to your ebook along the track, direct titles and page numbers can be easily upgraded with a simple click of the mouse.

Organization - To have a summary will help us track the sections of ebooks and much easier to create a steady stream throughout the ebook. In addition, readers will still need a reference point and can always jump directly to chapters with ease.

Look Professional - Documents, whether white papers, reports, eBooks look more professional with a table of contents organized.

Promote your book - Index can be used as extracts to promote your ebook. Give the potential buyer an overview of topics covered in your ebook. This is a great way to let them know what's inside, without revealing too much.

About the Author page

If your ebook is by nature fun or business, 'About the Author' pages must be taken into account. If the book has a more serious business-like theme, or you are promoting your company and services, details the experience can be a huge advantage. Not only adds credibility to your ebook, but they are a great way to provide an overview of who you are and why you took the time to create your product.

Some authors like to insert a photo. This is a good idea if you prepare to write more eBooks.

Promotional page

It 's also a good idea to consider having a promotional page, at the end of your ebook. As reported below, these pages can be used to provide your contact information, to further promote your product or service, or simply provide more of a 'book feeling' to your ebook.

Finally, not all eBooks must contain all the information above. However, we recommend the following order of content:

* On the cover
* Copyright / Disclaimer Page
* Introduction
* Table of Contents
* In this chapter
* Conclusion
* About the Author
* Promotional page ......
