Entrepreneurship - How to Promote a Culture of Entrepreneurship In One Community

Entrepreneurship is the engine of progress in any society. It is known that SMEs contribute a high percentage of the workforce of a country and likewise, also contribute significantly to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

That is why the promotion of entrepreneurship culture in a country is essential to increase productivity and economic growth of a country.

As a mother who always sought an education for their children to foster their entrepreneurial skills and leadership, I have questioned many times:

How will promote entrepreneurship on a larger scale: in a community in a city or a country?

While it is important to provide tools to support entrepreneurs and implement conditions that facilitate entrepreneurship in financial institutions, I think a focus on merely external is not enough.

The entrepreneurial spirit is born into people. When a man understands that possesses unique talents and abilities with which they can prosper and also positively impact their community, light a little spark inside.

Will suddenly be seen as a bystander, a victim of circumstances, and begin to recognize the tremendous human potential that lies within. A mindset of "can not" move into a mindset of "Yes, I can!" It's a major change that we all want to deploy, but how can you achieve?

How do we get people out of their passivity toward life and are motivated to take on your projects?

In my personal experience to educate our children at home, I saw that an education that fosters entrepreneurship and leadership skills, has 3 key ingredients:

1. An individualized education

2. The independent study

3. Good mentors

While the first two factors are more difficult to implement due to the structure and methodology used in the vast majority of educational institutions, contact with good mentors is a very feasible to achieve.

The solution is to encourage interaction with other entrepreneurs

I think that contact with other entrepreneurs who have achieved success in their lives could have a significant impact on everyone in a community.

We must remember that, on average, the vast majority of people live disconnected from the world of entrepreneurship. Studying in entering the labor market, as is the option offered during the course of their education.

If they could make contact with successful entrepreneurs who have already made the leap into business for yourself, would understand that a job is not the only option they have.

My proposal is as follows:

Instantiated for entrepreneurs in a community to interact with their community through:

- Motivational talks for adults

- Exhibitions of his experience in colleges and universities

- Visits to workshops and factories in which SMEs explains how the business was conceived, how it works and the ability to successfully replicate the model.
