Bilateral Relations Mexico-US

Mexico and the U.S. share the largest border in the world, and the relationship that these countries have been a bit strange from the beginning. Full of contrasts and contradictions. From the previous administration of the most powerful nation in the world, led by President George W. Bush emerged from the Pentagon a wake up call saying that Mexico was a country whose safety was at risk of collapse. With the help of disorder produced by the country from the war on drugs waged by the Mexican leader Felipe Calderon took the concept to describe Mexico as a failed state, that is to either define a failed state is a situation in which the state apparatus is unable to control its own territory. But international agencies, its northern neighbor also mentioned that Mexico was not a failed state but a fragile state due to the growing power acquiring the drug. With the recent visit of the current Secretary of State of the United States, Hilary Clinton, tried to patch up some errors. As it was mentioned that the Mexican government control of all its territory. It emphasized the problem that it represented the drug, but also accepted that the problem also lies in the United States, as its population is the largest consumer of drugs, and if there were a consumer, not really occur.

Another major problem is the trafficking of weapons, organized crime has powerful weapons, in large part due to the traffic of weapons coming from the United States. These are problems that affect both countries, and that should solve together, without blaming each other. It's easier nuanced actions by both countries to stop producing as much as one hand, and with the consumption of the other to partially or completely eliminate these problems. It has been said that the United States will take steps to protect its population, because Mexico is losing control of its territory, but instead of issuing threats, could help eliminate internal problems of drug use and drug trafficking weaken in Mexico, and there is no need to protect its population from that. It's hard to rid our nation owns the relationship with the United States because it depends in many ways, is the main trade partner that Mexico has. However, when problems arise, the Mexican government has known how to respond. For example, the recent problems with Mexican trucks, which were denied entry to the United States, Mexico's government reacted strongly to place higher tariffs on foodstuffs, which are so necessary for its northern neighbor; creating a severe blow to the economy and revive the passage through the border quickly with an order issued from the White House.

Showing that even though Mexico's economy depends largely on the United States, our country will not allow this abuse from affecting or harming our business. Mexico and the United States depends largely on the other, both financially and in terms of resources, therefore, instead of fighting each other should join forces to eliminate the problems that beset them.
