How to manage the stressful uncertainty of downsizing or outsourcing Company

For a variety of reasons, many companies are downsizing their employees, leaving some loyal workers unemployed, and others wondering if they will be next. Others are taking their companies overseas, leaving all their domestic help in trouble. During this time, the uncertainty of everything around you can do almost intolerable for all concerned. Hours get cut and the remaining ones could work harder to compensate for the lost employees not being there. Minds, and people disillusioned with their jobs as they perceive the company running. How can we cope at all? What to do? Even if you want, this is not the end of the world. We want to be good not only for themselves, but planning for the future.

It 'better to be proactive rather than reactive

Instead of giving up, you better get busy. It 's easy to feel worn out, stress can make us slow down and want to do anything We all need our time-out, to rest and recover, but do not overdo it or you can become a habit. Give yourself a specific amount of time to hear all those feelings of anger, frustration or stress. Then, get up, dust yourself off, and take action. Looking for jobs, networking with other people, writing a resume is always good to do - in case the worst case scenario occurs and your task is finished. It 'better to be prepared rather than wait until it actually happens, because then panic can set in, and make things much worse. Sit down and write a list of what kind of job you want, what kind of benefits you need, and what kind of company you want to work. Be as specific as possible. Just write everything. You may or may not be necessary to find another job, but in the meantime, writing helps to clarify what you want, and dispel some of these stresses. When job hunting, do not expect to get everything on that list, but use it as a guide in choosing between the positions that interest you. Choose one that best suits what you are looking for.

Do not let loyalty to the company to retain

If people are dropping like flies around you, then the writing is on the wall. It 's time to kick your job search into overdrive. Before you start looking, the better. The Internet is a goldmine of resources for you, when it comes to job search. Send your resume and look at the works of various employment-related websites such as Monster.com, HotJobs.com, JobsOnline.net, or others. Do not rely on a single site. It costs nothing to submit a resume normally, or to get results sent in an e-mail on a weekly basis. Even if you do not want to leave your present job, it does not hurt to look, and be aware of what is out there. In this way will make the job search less intimidating and give you the hope of a better day ahead.

If you've been unhappy in your current position, maybe it's time to change

Are you sick and tired of listening to bickering customers on the phone all day, or aching arms to type too? Think about what kind of job would be a better match for your personality and needs. If you work forty hours in a room full of windows of cubicles unattractive to you, think of alternatives. Be practical, though. If finances or narrow, I do not think that starting your own business will be an immediate flow of cash on a consistent basis. Being a freelance artist, I, it takes time and planning to build a business and see profit in the art world, unless you have connections to high power. Would you like to open a coffee shop, gym or start a field? Whatever you long to do, plan and work to do. Years ago, my friends were high-powered executives in Manhattan, which has thrown the city life and bought the area in rural Pennsylvania. They started a camp for children, on top of a hill, with a large barn, a farmhouse and animals. This field is now more than thirty years. They're living their dream, because they have taken the opportunity, and ran jobs that do not make them happy.

Whatever you do, the goal is to re-empower your mind, feel better and get energy. Give yourself time and patience to get through downsizing or outsourcing. You're strong and you through it. The sun will come out tomorrow. It 's up to you to help yourself, do not give up hope, be good for you, and being practical for the future. Trust your instincts, and give yourself time to decompress and relax, not to run out. A better day will come, until then, just take everything one day at a time .......
